The Astro-raffe
Family
Five long necks, one big sky. We're not experts — we're enthusiasts with a mission: to look up, pay attention, and bring what we find back down to the watering hole.
Vision
Making space famous — so that every species looks up and wonders again.
Mission
Bringing Heaven to Earth — translating cosmic awe into stories we can carry home.
Why
Educating Earth about the wonder, awe and real opportunities waiting in space.
Who
The Astro-raffe family — GEO, LEO, MEO, Nova and Genesis.
A family of long necks built to reach the sky — and hearts built to share what we see.
GEO is the dreamer with his head in the stars. He climbs, he peers, he gasps — and then he comes racing back to tell the others what he spotted. His favourite words are: "You won't believe what I've just spotted!"
His older brother LEO is the practical one. Shorter, sharper, and dressed for business, he gets excited about what space means for markets, investments and the future of work. "Data doesn't lie. Space is a booming business!"
His younger sister MEO is still at school, wide-eyed and curious. She wants every teacher and every young calf to know that space is not scary — it's a story waiting to be read. "Every star has a story that is waiting to be read."
Behind them stand their parents, Nova and Genesis — the two pioneers who built the technology that makes the broadcasts possible. Nova is the playful inventor who turns complexity into music. Genesis is the faithful founder who sees every new discovery as another brushstroke in a divine masterpiece.
Together, the Astro-raffe family bridges the gap between cosmic discovery and terrestrial broadcasting. Their long necks act as natural antennas, linking low, medium, geostationary orbit and the deep cosmos to the local watering holes where everyone gathers.

Inventions that make the broadcast possible
Nova's Grand Resonance Piano
Hardwired into the station, this custom-built piano boosts signal strength across the savanna whenever Nova plays. Each key triggers a cosmic frequency, a laser pulse, or a holographic projection — turning engineering into improvisation.
The Genesis Incubator Pod
A quiet, beautifully lit sanctuary at the main station. GEO, LEO or MEO can bring a messy, raw idea inside and safely prototype it before it ever goes on air. It's where wonder is allowed to be unfinished.
We are brave, clunky, kind and a little awkward — because the sky is too wonderful to keep to ourselves.
